Colorology /kuhl-er-ol-uh-jee/  noun:  The science that deals with the development, understanding, characteristics and custom colors and shades for professional sunless spray tan technicians.

Sunless solutions are available in MANY shades, and your color choice can be governed by many factors (i.e. the client’s natural skin tone, personal preferences, and special occasion and/or events).

In this session, you will learn the techniques required to successfully determine what solution shade best fits your individual client needs. Learning advanced RPD (Residual Pigment Darkening), seamless color transitions and building the perfect price menu to benefit your business while ensuring you give your clients that natural, just off the beach™ spray tan Norvell is famous for.

Our Continental Breakfast opens at 9:00 am and  Presentations start @ 9:30.

The day is packed full of learning with your favorite vendors and, of course, your All Hours team. The Morning line up consists of Drew Spurgers, Marcus Williams from M2Media, Lisa Parsons from Devoted Creations & Ed Hardy, Wendy Whitman from MRI and Brook Taylor from All Hours.

One of our favorite presenters, Drew Spurgers has worked in marketing & promotions for 8 years, and inside of the tanning industry for 5 years. In 2013, he bought a failing salon, remodeled and brought in sunless and turned the ship around. Today, customers drive from up to 2 hours away for spray tans from Drew and his Norvell Certified team. Sunless made the difference for Exotic Tans! In December, Drew opened SHADE Sunless Spa, Arkansas’s first sunless exclusive store. Drew is excited to see our industry use sunless along with UV to grow and thrive! Drew will cover innovative ways to increase revenue through sunless tanning and how to market to new and existing clients!

Marcus is the CEO of M2Media and is based out of Seattle Washington. His presentation will cover what to dos and what not to dos of social media.  His 20 minute presentation will be followed by 20 minutes of Q & A so that you can ask questions specific to your business.

Lisa Parsons has been in the tanning industry for 15 years and was the first product trainer to win person of the year in 2015 being recognized for her ability to increase salon staff performance!  Lisa will discuss what it takes to take a salon from good to GREAT, and follows with a brief over view of the Devoted difference.

Wendy Whitman will be explaining the MRI standard. She will cover anti-diversion and show you what makes MRI stand out above the rest!

Brook Taylor will cover the importance of keeping your business relevant in an ever changing market. Are you giving your clients reasons to return each year? Are you keeping your clients excited about your business? Not only will we examine these questions but we will give you tools to make sure that your clients are excited to come back to you year after year! She will present new ways to increase revenue and drive unique tanners through the door.

A quick lunch will be served and then we dive into afternoon presentations. 

Drew Spurgers, on behalf of Norvell, will do a spray tan presentation followed by an overview of what makes Norvell today’s Sunless tanning leader!

Samantha Neely from New Sunshine will cover facility motivation and what makes New Sunshine an industry leader!

LeAnn, from SunEvolutions, will present the POWER of big name brands, all under one roof!

The afternoon will wrap up with John Aycock, Lamp Expert. He  will teach you about the importance of re-lamping and keeping your salon competitive. It’s just a bulb, right? WRONG!

After the day’s presentations, our show floor opens up for product testing and purchases. Breakout sessions from our sponsoring vendors will also be offered.

At 6 pm our show will conclude with our always popular GAMES, GIVEAWAYS, and cocktail hour! This is an event you won’t want to miss!
